Manager Revenue Optimization / Pricing Analyst

Job Description

Summary:
The Manager Revenue Optimization is responsible for developing and executing revenue optimization
strategy and analytics for multiple concepts/brands and/or multiple business units. This role utilizes
analytics to drive revenues and profitability, influences brands, operators, and authorities and supports
business unit decision-making. This position is responsible for deploying Revenue Optimization process
improvements, coaching on business best practices, providing analytics to support revenue growth,
measuring and deploying new initiatives and products, and performing all other responsibilities as
directed by the business or as assigned by management. This is an exempt position and typically reports
to the Sr Director Revenue Optimization.
Essential Functions:
 Held accountable for business unit and global profitability targets through category management,
analysis of key initiatives, and new product testing
 Applies business unit profitability metrics translating complex data into action oriented decisions that
drive revenues and/or reduce costs
 Leads process improvement efforts and partners with internal sources – senior management,
operations & department leads and external partners – brands and vendors to optimize revenue
growth influencing business decision-makers and building consensus
 Prepares, analyzes, and presents key findings and recommended actions to key internal and external
stakeholders teams soliciting feedback, gaining consensus on next steps, and motivating
implementation
 Partners with field personnel developing and utilizing exception reporting to optimize revenues with
attention to specific menu items, categories, and relative pricing

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
 Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA degree or candidate
preferred
 Requires 3-4 years of work experience in analytics, project management, and cross-functional
collaboration
 Requires advanced computer knowledge in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access or other database
programs with the ability to translate data into required actions and easy to use tools for end users
 Requires strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively apply statistical methods
 Requires proven leadership skills with the ability to tailor communication to the specific audience,
influence others without authority, and facilitate change management
 Requires demonstrated attention to detail, project management skills, and organization skills
 Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
